Monument to the incomplete man

This sculptural volume over six meters high finds its visual references in Russian constructivism and Italian futurism. The artist draws attention to the capacity for self-representation inherent in all modern forms of society. A monument is an ideological marker, an instrument used by nations to establish their historical consciousness and legitimize their most representative symbols. This work is freed from such tasks and is sustained by the power underlying the monumental and the sacrilegious sense of the raving.
