This project has connections with the work “El órgano oriental” and “El cielo de mi memoria”, presented at the 12th Havana Biennial and the X Central American Biennial in Costa Rica, respectively. The common point between the three actions is the musical composition called Transiluminación # 1, composed from the genetic information (DNA) of the artist. For Guzmán, his personal identity is the method to discover the great meaning of that term, because in his lineage blood of indigenous, African and Spanish Sephardic origin is united. The supreme exodus part of this musical composition, arranged by the renowned Cuban musician Rey Fernández. It will be publicly performed by a group of musicians in a great performance as a tour of the Malecon. The musicians will be dressed in an Ajrak cloth, traditional in Pakistan and India, whose design, with the collaboration of Servo-Hoalnian designer Iva Jankovic, is also based on the artist’s DNA nomenclature. After the performance, the costumes will be exhibited in the Gallery of the House of the International Film Festival of Havana. The supreme exodus revolves around the idea of multiculturalism.
